A few years back, on a very hot late spring day in Virginia, I was checking on one of my honeybee colonies. I took a honey frame out that was loaded with capped honey and uncapped honey (nectar). The way the sunlight hit a nearby rainbow glass orb decoration sent a kaleidoscope of colors onto the frame I was holding. It was that moment that inspired my Hexaflow series of art.
